Keith graduated from the College of William and Mary (B.A. High Honors) in 2003. In 2008, he graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law with a Certificate of Concentration in Health Care Law. Keith served as a law intern for United States Senator Barbara Mikulski. He worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Sean D. Wallace, a trial court judge for the State of Maryland. Keith was admitted to practice in Iowa in 2009 and was admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa in 2010. Keith was President of the Iowa County Bar Association and is a member of both the Linn County Bar Association and the Iowa State Bar Association.
