Our HistoryThe roots of Elderkin & Pirnie, P.L.C. are traced back to the firm of Barnes and Chamberlain which was established in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1918. Mr. David M. Elderkin became a firm partner in 1950 while Mr. Thomas H. Pirnie became a firm partner in 1957. Our trial and business practice groups have established long-term relationships with clients who have recurring legal needs and continue to form new relationships with those having their first experience with legal representation.
